Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our website. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit, such as your language preference, items in your cart, or how you use the site.

2. Who is responsible for cookies on this site?

This website, demea-paris.com, is operated by Rilatex28 SAS, 59 rue Chauveau, 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine, France ("we," "us"), the data controller for the cookies described below.

3. Categories of cookies we use

a) Strictly necessary cookies — always active, no consent required
These are essential for the website to function: maintaining your session, keeping items in your cart, enabling secure checkout, remembering your language/currency, and protecting against fraud. Examples include Shopify's own session, cart, and security cookies (e.g. cart, _secure_session_id, _shopify_essential). Without these, core features such as checkout cannot work.

b) Analytics / performance cookies — require your consent
These help us understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time spent, errors encountered) so we can improve it. We do not currently use third-party analytics tools requiring consent beyond Shopify's own first-party analytics.

c) Marketing / advertising cookies — require your consent
These would be used to show you relevant advertising on other sites and measure the performance of our campaigns (e.g. Meta, Google, TikTok pixels). We do not currently deploy any marketing/advertising cookies on this site. If this changes, this policy and our consent banner will be updated accordingly before any such cookie is set.

4. Legal basis and consent

In accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés) and the ePrivacy Directive, cookies other than strictly necessary ones may only be placed with your prior, free, specific, and informed consent, given through our cookie banner. You can accept, reject, or customise your choices, and rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting.

5. How long do cookies last?

Where consent is required, it is valid for a maximum of 13 months, after which we will ask for it again. Individual cookie lifespans vary by purpose and are listed in the table available via our cookie preference centre.

6. How to manage your preferences

You can change your cookie choices at any time by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the website footer, or by adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.

7. Third parties

Some cookies are set by third-party service providers acting on our behalf (currently: Shopify Inc., our e-commerce platform provider, acting as processor). We will update this list if we introduce additional third-party tools.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. The date at the top indicates when it was last revised.
